The public debut of the new Bentley Continental GT speed saw Bentley’s fastest car hit the Goodwood hillclimb. We’ve just had a reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT Speed – the fastest Bentley in production – and as we predicted Bentley have taken the new GT Speed to Goodwood this weekend. And there’s not a lot of point, when your new car is the fastest you make, having a pretty, static display.

Most speed cameras on the M25 have not worked for five years, according to a report in the Sunday People newspaper. Of the 117-mile stretch of London’s orbital motorway, only 3.2 miles between Junctions 2 and 3 in Kent is covered by working cameras. General Motors will hire 1,000 engineers and researchers in Michigan for research and development of electric vehicles, CEO Dan Akerson said on Tuesday morning in Detroit. The new hires will work on batteries, electric motors and power-control technology. Akerson made the announcement at the factory that builds the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.
