SmallTownSpeed is proud to be the North American dealer for the quality cast aluminum, Australian made, AussieSpeed product line!

This listing is for one brand new, black wrinkle powder coated, finned aluminum TALL valve cover for Briggs & Stratton OHV motors including Animal, L206, Intek and World Formula. This is perfect for giving your go kart, mini-bike, barstool racer, or any other small engine project that awesome traditional hot rod look! These really do beef up the look of these motors, and this tall cover has the advantage of being able to clear roller rockers without having to run goofy looking spacers! The overall height on this valve cover is just shy of 3 1/4" tall!

It is very important that your motor is vented, if you do not vent your crankcase(which is usually accomplished by a hose coming off of the stock valve cover), you can lose power, blow out seals and gaskets and damage your motor. Since there are several ways to accomplish this(one of which is a nipple on the oil fill plug, which would not require a hole in the valve cover), and since most of these covers will be going on really cool custom projects, they do not come pre-drilled to give you the largest amount of flexibility; but these are good high quality, non-brittle castings that are easy to drill and tap(for a vent or pulse fitting for a fuel pump). If you are not comfortable with/dont have the tools for/would rather not mess with the drilling and tapping, call me at 972-989-4003 and I should be able to help you out.

Note: These are small production run, sand cast(not cheap brittle die cast), aluminum parts. These are high quality parts, but due to the manufacturing process, there can be very slight variances from part to part, and they do come with an "as cast" finish which is coarse. I personally run these parts, and have been blown away by the quality(have never had an issue with any of them), but just want to remind people that these are cast parts, not factory made, cnc machined billet parts(which is a big part of why I prefer these parts). They look awesome as is, you can paint them(or smooth then paint if you want a mirror finish), or they can be smoothed and polished, which looks amazing!

Make sure and check out my other listings for the full Aussie Speed line, and contact me if you don't see an Aussie Speed part your interested in listed. If your interested in a few parts contact me, and Ill make you a package deal to save you a bit of money. Also check out my "SmallTownSpeed" shirts, because I can add one to any order with zero additional shipping costs.

I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, I'm not a big shop, and this is not my only job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because of my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. And the latter should be easy enough to relate to, right? I ALSO SELL PARTS ON FORUMS and LOCALLY, so I reserve the right to END AUCTIONS EARLY. I'm happy to combine shipping when practical, and I'm also happy to make package deals if there are several parts you need. Email is the best way to contact me, but I'm happy to give you a call, or give you my personal cell number if you would rather call me. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK: SMALLTOWNSPEED

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL OF THE PARTS I'M SELLING ARE USED. I guarantee them to fit the bike I took them off of; and any other years on models mentioned are to help people find parts that may work for them, not a guarantee of fitment. I pride myself in good customer service, accurate descriptions, and low prices. There is no feasible way for me to list or confirm every possible fitment while keeping my prices low. If you're not sure, check with your local dealer, or compare part numbers at an online oem supplier like motosport. BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVERY PART I SELL IS SOLD EXACTLY AS PICTURED AND AS-IS. It is also possible that over the life of the bike that I'm parting out, that parts were changed to something other than what was put on at the assembly line. So, where am I going with all of this? I wont stick anybody with parts they don't want or can't use. I accept returns, and my great feedback speaks for itself; seriously, read through some of it.... I treat other riders(that's you) how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when your buying used parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied. I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time. If I'm not achieving that, please let me know how I can improve.

Thanks!

New Ford Focus ST (2011) at Paris

Fri, 23 Jul 2010

The 250bhp 2011 Focus ST Ford did threaten that a performance version of the 2011 Ford Focus would be a world car. We all jumped to the conclusion that would be an all new 2012 Focus RS – and it still probably will be – but if Ford need a get out of jail free card on the performance promise the 2011 Focus ST could be it. It appears that Ford are taking the first performance version of the new Focus to the Paris Motor Show in October.
