Corvette Stingray Emblem Black 4 speed knob for Muncie type 4 speed shifters with reverse lockout collar and 9/16-18 recessed threads for 1963 to 1982 Corvette. Fits down on the shifter like the stock knob with clearance for the lockout collar. 2-1/8" diameter. 

A jam nut does not work with the recessed threads of these knobs. To avoid bottoming out and over-tightening, which may damage the knob, use of a small amount of blue loctite on the threads is recommended. This will assist in tightening the knob and still allow removal later.
