This is the finest high density foam Roll Bar padding available.  It is designed to provide maximum head and body protection in racing or off road vehicles.  Cosmetic blemishes (bubbled finish, scuffs, etc.) do not affect the performance in any way!  Manufactured in the USA and SFI 45.1 approved. Features a 3/4in thick pad designed for maximum impact absorption, and tapered sidewalls for a superior, low profile fit. Self extinguishing composition exceeds the flame retardant specifications for melting and burning in a fire.  This pad will fit 2" to 2.25" diameter tubing. 3 foot long. Black.

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) has announced the winner of its 2013 Design Awards, which asked students from across the world to submit their final graduating projects completed between October 2011 and July 2013. Eric Leong from Sweden's Umeå Institute of Design, came in first place with his 'Audi Elite' project, earning himself €4,000. Leong's single-person vehicle can be controlled using the entire body through gestures and movements, and adapts to the needs of the driver, giving them more control.

Supermarkets slash fuel prices for bank holiday

SUPERMARKETS have announced fuel-price cuts ahead of the August bank holiday getaway. From tomorrow Asda, Sainsbury's and Tesco are all reducing the cost of their petrol by up to 2p a litre, with diesel going down by 1p a litre. In Asda's case, this will take the price of its petrol to no more than 124.7p a litre, with diesel at 128.7p for diesel – its lowest prices since January 2011.
