2013 Nissan Juke priced at $19,990

Wed, 26 Sep 2012

Nissan announced pricing for the 2013 Juke crossover on Wednesday. The base Juke S with a CVT will come in at $19,990, not including destination, while the all-wheel drive Juke SL starts at $26,650.

The body remains the same for 2013, but the car's looks can be enhanced with a Midnight Edition package, which features 17-inch black wheels, a black roof spoiler and black rearview mirror caps. The Midnight Edition package costs $1,200 from the dealer, a cost savings of $500 versus purchasing the accessories separately.

A rearview monitor has been added to the optional navigation package and a premium sound system is now offered on the SV. Three new colors will also be offered: gold, silver and pearl white.

Under the hood, it's business as usual. A 1.6-liter turbocharged, direct-injected four-cylinder makes 188 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. It's mated to a six-speed manual transmission, or a CVT with sport mode. Fuel economy is decent at 27 mpg in the city and 33 on the highway.

The Juke has three driving modes: sport, eco and normal. Each mode adjusts the throttle, transmission and steering feel.

The 2013 Nissan Juke is on sale now, we'll hear more about the Nismo version debuting in Paris on Thursday.
