Alfa Romeo MiTo Live launches

Alfa Romeo has launched a limited edition MiTo – the MiTo Live – with a Pioneer App radio and Marmalade ‘Black Box’ Insurance aimed at new drivers.

So on the engine front the MiTo Live gets Alfa’s 875cc two-cylinder turbo – a crackingly good little engine – which delivers up a modest, but fun, 85bhp with emissions of 98g/km and the promise of 67.3mpg if you drive like a saint. And if you do drive like a saint, there’s a cost saving beyond great fuel economy.

Alfa Romeo has fitted the MiTo Live with a Marmalade Insurance ‘Black Box’ that gives a low entry premium for insurance and charges by your usage, so first time drivers who drive safely and stay off the road at night could see their insurance premiums staying sane and even dropping by up to 30 per cent in year two.

On the goodies front, the MiTo Live gets a Pioneer AppRadio and Bose sound which comes complete with 7″ screen, Parrot Bluetooth and the ability to connect with both Android and Apple phones so you can access Smartphone functionality through the Pioneer screen.

On the styling front, the MiTo Live gets an Alfa Red paint job with contrasting gloss black highlights on the roof, wing mirrors and door handles, 17″ Titanium Alloys, a rear bumper spoiler, tinted windows and carbon effect trim on the dash.

The Alfa Romeo MiTo Live costs from £16,590 and Alfa are building just 250.
