Audi A6, A6 Avant & A7 Black Edition launched

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

Audi has released Black Edition version of the A6 Saloon, A6 Avant and A7 with extra equipment and cosmetic tweaks.

Audi has taken the S Line A6, A6 Avant and A7 and given them a ‘Black’ makeover for a special edition range that starts at £35k and carries on to almost £57k.

Cosmetic and equipment additions over and above the regular S Line Spec include rotor-design alloys with a dark titanium finish (20″ on A6, 21″ on A7), black finish for the grill and window surrounds, privacy glass and black roof rails on the A6 Avant. Inside there’s Piano Black trim, black leather seats and black headlining.

With a range of engine options on offer, the A6 Saloon Black Edition costs from £35,010 to £49,185, the A6 Avant Black Edition from £36,970 to £51,025 and the A7 Sportback Black Edition from £50,575 to £56,785.

Audi want buyers to think of the Black Edition as the ideal option of you’re opting for the 3.0 litre BiTDI (and we wouldn’t disagree), but you can have your Black Edition Audi with anything from the 2.0 litre TDI on up, but you can’t have it as an S6 S6 or in the FWD 3.0 litre TDI A7. All clear? Good.

If you feel the urge, the Black Editions of the A6, Avant and A7 are now up for grabs with first cars delivered in early 2013.
