Autoweek in review: NASCAR fans hire lawyer, McLaren prices the P1

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

March is here, and things are warming up in the automotive world.

On Monday Alfa Romeo teased the 4C interior ahead of the Geneva motor show, and we wound down after a sobering weekend of racing.

We reviewed the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Tuesday and heard that the McLaren P1 supercar will sticker for $1.15 million when deliveries begin in early 2014. NASCAR fans injured at the Daytona Nationwide race said they would hire a lawyer.

Midweek, we posted spy photos of the new Ford F-series, and looked back at the Gyro-X.

On Thursday, Land Rover intrigued us with an all-electric Defender concept they plan to debut at the Geneva motor show. We also reviewed the 2013 Infiniti M56x.

We ended the week with a wild video of the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6 in action. If you haven't seen it, you'll want to. We also heard debate from racing experts on new concepts in speedway fencing following the Nationwide crash.

Be sure to check back next week as we go live from the Geneva motor show.
