Exclusive -- Mercedes-Benz GT AMG spy shots

On Monday, we told you about the 911-fighting Mercedes-Benz GT AMG, which is scheduled to debut at the German Grand Prix in 2014. Today, we have fresh spy photos of the upcoming car. The two-seat coupe is codenamed C190 and will take the place of the bigger SLS AMG.

Output should come from a 4.0-liter V8, which shares architecture with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder found in the new Mercedes CLA. Official figures haven't been revealed, but AMG brass said it could have a specific output of 120 hp per cylinder and a total output of 493 hp. Pricing should be near $160,000.
