The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (pictured) will be at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed

The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed starts on Thursday with the Moving Motor Show, and Ferrari are planning a good turnout including the F12 Berlinetta popping its Goodwood Cherry. It’s nearly eighteen months since the Ferrari F12 was revealed, but this coming weekend it will get a chance to strut its 731bhp up the Goodwood hillclimb.

With a 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph (which isn’t that important up the hillclimb) the F12 promises a stunning spectacle for Goodwood’s visitors.

But it’s not just the F12 getting an outing at Goodwood, with Ferrari taking along a selection of cars created by through their Tailor-Made Service and even a one-off special.

The one-off special is Eric Clapton’s Ferrari SP12 EC, a 458 created by Centro Stile Ferrari in collaboration with Pininfarina and evoking many of the design cues from Eric’s favourite Ferrari – the 512BB.

Also on show is a 458 Spider from Ferrari’s Tailor-Made with Ice White Pearl paint with Grigio Silverstone racing stripes, black and grey leather, grey Alcantara and pin-stripe detailing on the inner carbon fibre trims in Ice White.

Finally, Ferrari will also be taking along their 2010 F1 car – Fernando Alonso’s, which won at Monza  - which will spend the weekend strutting its stuff with Marc Gene behind the wheel.

A proper little Ferrari Fest for Goodwood.
