Fiat Strada

Mon, 30 Jan 2012

The forth-generation Fiat Strada pickup is a product of company's booming Brazilian operations and is set to go on sale in Europe this month for the first time. It follows on from the Ford EcoSport, another South American product heading to the global market.

The Strada is offered with three body styles: a standard two-seat cab configuration; a long cab with stowage behind the seats; and a full four-seat crew cab variant.

The new Strada is almost identical to the previous generation pick-up from the A-pillar back. A new nose features revised lamp graphics, more upright grille and a more pronounced crown to the hood. A more defined tailgate and new rear lamps round out the exterior revisions.

The range-topping Adventure model gains more aggressive styling with different, Fiat Coupe-esque angular arches, heavily defined grille surround, increased ride height and oversized ‘lug tread' tires.

Inside a new, simple IP features centrally-mounted auxiliary gauges, whilst a color-coded horizontal element lifts the utilitarian cabin.
