First of five free Suzuki S-Crosses collected

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

SUZUKI has come over all charitable with the news that it has given away the first of its free S-Cross models that are up for grabs.

Entrants to the competition had to nominate someone they knew to receive a free S-Cross car – and well-equipped models, too – with a brief explanation of why the nominee deserved it.

The first to pick up their free new 14-plate crossover were a ‘very surprised’ Phillip Southward and wife Sue, who collected their SZ4-spec S-Cross at Suzuki’s RRG dealership in Stockport.

Of more than 42,000 entries on Facebook and Twitter, theirs was picked out by the independent adjudicator first, and as family friend Jane Bush put it: “They really deserve to win a new car as Sue teaches disabled children, and in addition to having two sons of their own they are also long term fosterers.”

“Financially I know they have struggled over the years as Phil had to give up his job over 12 years ago as a result of contracting M.E.. Their old family car is well over due for replacement and this will make a big difference to a lovely family.”

Four more winners will be announced this month, each of whom will be able to drive away their own brand new S-Cross.
