Ford Mondeo Titanium ECOnetic launched

Ford has launched an ECOnetic version of the Mondeo in Titanium trim

Ford has announced the launch of the Mondeo Titanium ECOnetic today. Which gives you all the extra toys the Titanium model offers but throws in the ECO bits that make the car cheaper to run. So you still get all the extra bits that make the Titanium more liveable with but you get the ECOnetic bits bolted on top. Good move.

The Mondeo Titanium 2.0 115PS TDCi is not the greatest performer in the world, but it manages to row along quite credibly. It still has the great driving dynamics that all Fords possess and in ECOnetic guise it manages to emit 139g/km CO2 and averages 54.3mpg. These figures are achieved by the usual tweaks to the suspension and wheels, a few aerodynamic bits and bobs and the ‘green arrow’ gear change indicator.

Prices start at £23,295 for the five door and £24,545 for the Estate. VED drops to band E – £120 a year.

Time to bring on the ECOnetic option across all Ford models?
