Free airport parking and transfers for Tesla owners

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

ELECTRIC car maker Tesla has announced a free parking and airport shuttle service for its customers, based at its new dealership near Heathrow.

Model S owners will be able to book the service with the West Drayton Tesla centre, before simply turning up, having their car parked in a secure location and then being taken off to the airport with their luggage – in another Model S.

Tesla representatives will also ferry the customers back from the airport terminal to their own car.

Customers can even have their car serviced or valeted while they are away, increasing the convenience factor still further.

The unique service, which will continue to be offered to future buyers of Tesla cars, comes in the wake of company boss Elon Musk’s promise that the impending network of so-called ‘superchargers’ will be forever free for Tesla owners to use.

“By taking any hassle out of servicing and flying, I believe that we can delight our customers,” said Georg Ell, Tesla’s UK country director. “The location of our new West London store and service centre makes a perfect base for this service.”
