But great product isn’t enough on its own, sadly, to get real buyers to part with real money to buy a car. What you need is clever ways to get that product across the gaze of the demographic you’re looking to target. And Jaguar have got very good at that.

The endless teases and profile when the ‘new’ XJ launched back in 2009 made it clear Jaguar were more focused on marketing their cars than ever before and now, four years on, Jaguar seem to have got their PR and marketing machine working very well to target every possible customer for the new F-Type.

From Lana del Rey for a bit of smooth, but contemporary, cool to Damian Lewis for a bit of an action adventure and even the Playboy Playmate of the year to cover all the bases, Jaguar has gone the extra mile to show all its possible audience that the new F-Type really is cool, stunning and a worthy successor to the E-Type.

Now Jaguar are running a campaign – ‘Your Turn’ – to introduce the F-Type to new markets and they’re rolling out marketing and PR across any media they can think of to promote the F-Type. Now it’s time for the USA to get ‘Its Turn’ at the F-type and Jaguar have put together a new promo video to let our Colonial Cousins know how lucky they are.

The promo video shows the F-Type on its way through the countryside before ending up in a cityscape – with plenty of admiring faces looking on and waiting their turn – where the driver exits and throws the keys to the F-Type to the next driver – its ‘Your Turn’.
