Classic Jaguars in action at the Goodwood Revival

The Goodwood Revival may not have quite the same appeal for some as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, but if you love classic cars it’s a must go. This year Jaguar are again out in force (last year Jaguar took their Heritage Collection to Goodwood) with more than thirty Jaguar and Jaguar-powered racers heading for Goodwood.

There will be racing C-Typoes, D-Types, E-Types and Mk II saloons in action,. with C-Types leading the charge in the Freddie March Memorial Trophy, Jaguar XK140s in action in the Fordwater Trophy and Jaguar Mark IIs looking like a Sweeney car chase in the St Mary’s Trophy.

Away from the track action Jaguar will be displaying just about every car in their history in the Revival Car Show car park for pre-1966 cars, and even the new F-Type will be on show as a foil to classic E-Types in the  Earls Court Motor Show exhibition stand.

Jaguar are also moving on with their association with David Gandy (David drove an XK120 in this year’s Mille Miglia with Yasmin Le Bon) with the premiere of a new film – Escapism – which features David driving some of the most famous Jaguars ever made including the C-Type, E-Type, new F-Type and perhaps the greatest (certainly in value) Jaguar XKSS.

The Goodwood Revival really is a must-go – especially if you’re a classic Jaguar fan.
