Kia Picanto Quantum – a new ‘Originals’ model from KiaThu, 24 Apr 2014 00:00:00 -0700
It’s the ‘Original’ Kia Picanto Quantum
As a little urban runaround, the Kia Picanto is a perfectly decent offering. And now you can get a more ‘Original’ Picanto. Kia like to think of their ‘Originals’ range of models as having distinct personalities and get changed at regular intervals just like a fashion collection. It’s a thought train.
The Picanto Quantum gets a nice Titanium Silver paint job and comes as a three door only with either manual or automatic gearbox.
Standard kit includes 15″ alloys, Climate, Smart entry with an engine stop-start button, electric sunroof, power folding mirrors with LED indicators, fogs, body-coloured side sills and automatic headlight controls. Proper grown-up toys for a little car.
But the Quantum isn’t satisfied with just adding to the standard spec, it also includes the ‘Urban Pack’ which includes reversing sensors, LED ambient lighting, Privacy Glass and a Supervision Instrument Cluster.
Fitted with Kia’s 1.25 litre petrol engine. the Picanto Quantum manages to get to 62mph in 12.9 seconds and will return official economy of 50.4mpg.
The Titanium Silver, 3-door-only Kia Picanto Quantum as now available for £11,895 for the manual and £12,495 for the Auto.
