Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake priced from £49,360

Tue, 21 Aug 2012

Mercedes-Benz has announced that the CLS Estate – the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – will cost from £49,360 CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY.

The new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake got its official reveal back in April (although we had to wait until July for the CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake) , Mercedes has only now got round to revealing that the CLS Estate will cost from £49,360 for the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Shooting Brake.

The CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY has to make do with Becker MAP PILOT instead of the full fat COMAND multimedia system the 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 63 AMG get, but all three CLS Shooting Brake models - CLS 250 CDI, CLS 350 CDI and the flagship CLS C63 AMG Shooting Brake – get DAB, leather, Parktronic, metallic paint and Bi-Xenons.

Just like the CLS saloon, the CLS shooting Brake 250 CDI gets the 2.1 litre turbo diesel with 201bhp and official economy of 53.3mpg, the 350 CDI gets the 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel with 261bhp and 47.1mpg and the range-topping CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake has a fulsome 5.5 litre bi-turbo V8 with 518bhp and 28mpg.

The CLS Shooting Brake will also be available in Sport spec as well as standard spec with LED headlights, AMG body styling, sports suspension and brakes, sports steering wheel and pedals and 19″ AMG wheels (the standard fit on the CLS 250 and 350 CDI is 18″). The Sport spec cost £52,370 on the 250 CDI and £55,995 on the 350 CDI.

The Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake will be available to order in the UK from mid-September with first deliveries in November.
