Mercedes SLS AMG - Interior images

[ad#ad-1]

Mercedes are really making the most of the upcoming SLS AMG Gullwing. Apart from the normal Spy-Snappers photos, we’ve had ‘Official’ spy pictures and even ‘Official’ SLS AMG spy videos. And now it’s the turn of the interior, although these do seem to be the finished product.

The cabin doesn’t look a bad place, although it’s pretty disappointing to see so much that is bog-standard Mercedes. I’d rather expected something a bit more bespoke, but then even the SLR felt corporate Mercedes, and the SL65 Black, which is a fair bit more expensive than the SLS, had to make do with a fairly standard offering, so there should be no big surprise.

But there are a few bespoke treats. The steering wheel seems to be one of them, and it has controls for the seven-speed ‘box (mounted at the back for better weight balance), and the centre console looks good. A plethora of buttons, including one that says AMG, which we are guessing is similar to the M Power button on a BMW – dial in your settings time.

The sketch of the outside does seem to be a little more impressive than the Official Spy Shots, but I guess we will have to wait a little longer to see an un-disguised car. The SLS AMG is due to reveal at Frankfurt in the autumn, but I’m sure we’ll be treated to more pictures before then. But my guess is we’ll get ‘Detail’ shots next. Oh, well.
