One Lap of the Web: Winter project car edition

-- The gents over at Chromjuwelen compiled a list of their favorite car builds of 2013. Number 10 starts off with a BMW 525i station wagon from the 1990s that's received an LSX V8 engine swap, just to give you some idea what kinds of "builds" Chromjuwelen is talking about.

-- If you've seen the 1975-1979 Chevrolet Monza V8, you can bravely click on this link to read its fascinating (in a not-particularly good way) story. If you haven't seen one, you can still click the link but you have a take a few seconds so mentally prepare yourself for what you're about to see.

-- There are Pinzgauers and there are Pinzgauers. This is the latter. Black ice on the roads will never be a problem again, and perhaps neither will traffic -- everyone will promptly get out of your way. The seller appears to have a whole army division that he or she is parting out.

-- If this isn't the best-kept Rover Sterling 827 in the country... then we don't know what the best-kept Rover Sterling 827 looks like. The list of services claimed performed on this 1989 Sterling in this eBay listing must be seen to be believed. Coincidentally, we think we've found this car's greatest fan in all of North America. And if you want to have the distinction of owning the highest-mileage Rover 800 in the country, this is undoubtedly your ticket.

-- If you're in the mood for a challenging project, we have an NSU Prinz you can sink your teeth (and cash) into. The seller claims that the car runs, though sourcing a windshield may make the purchase of the car seem cheap by comparison.
