Peugeot SxC concept

Thu, 14 Apr 2011

Peugeot have revealed pictures of its latest concept ahead of its Shanghai launch. Dubbed the SxC, the show car has been designed solely at the Peugeot Style Studios in China.

Sitting atop 22inch wheels and weighing in larger in every dimension than a Range Rover, the Peugeot SxC is an 'impressive size' according to Peugeot, but also harks back to design elements of previous concepts such as the BB1, EX1 and SR1.

The crossover concept has been aimed specifically at the Chinese market, which is an ever-growing market for such vehicles. The Hybrid car features the 'stylistic codes of Peugeot', sporting a floating grille and 'feline' headlights to give a familiar DRG.

The cars interior is accessed through rear-hinged 'suicide' doors and is said to promise a vast passenger compartment, all of which is bathed in light via the two-part panoramic roof.
