Skip Barber Racing School rolls back prices

Tue, 20 Sep 2011

Skip Barber Racing School is turning back the clock to 2001, when gasoline cost less than $2 a gallon and a three-day racing school cost just $3,000.

All 12 locations will move to the new pricing scheme temporarily, to give more drivers a chance to get behind the wheel and do some performance driving. Skip Barber has been teaching people to race for more than 30 years.

The Advanced Two-Day Racing School dropped $1,200 to $2,700, while the one- and two-day High Performance Driving Schools dropped to $1,500 and $2,500, respectively.

"We want to encourage new customers, and even those who have not participated recently, to experience Skip Barber Racing School and have fun learning the limits of their vehicles," CEO Michael Culver said. "There has never been a better time for drivers and aspiring racers to get behind the wheel."

Act fast, because the lower prices last only until Oct. 14. Drivers can call (800) 221-1131 to speak with a school adviser, or you can visit www.skipbarber.com for more details.
