Spyker B6 Concept teased for Geneva

Wed, 20 Feb 2013

Spyker is teasing the B6 Concept for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, which is probably Spyker’s take on the Porsche 911.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Victor Muller has new plans for Spyker and would be turning up at the Geneva Motor Show in March with a new concept.

Now, Spyker has revealed a teaser image for the Geneva Concept – the Spyker B6 (pictured above) – which we’re assuming is the Spyker take on the Porsche 911, probably built on a shorter version of the Aileron’s platform and powered by…who knows what?

But the B6 could also be a new Spyker supercar. We know that Victor also has plans for a high-end supercar with plenty of horses as well as the 911-style car and we don’t know which this is, and nor do we know just how ‘real’ Victor’s plans are.

As well as the Spyker 911 and Spyker supercar, plans for the Spyker SUV - the D8 Peking to Paris – are being resurrected with a planned launch in 2014, and Muller says he’s working with China’s Youngman to develop a new range of cars based on the Phoenix platform.

If any of this comes off it will be a miracle. Muller now has Spyker back in his control after the debacle at CPP when Vlad the Investor had a few problems with an unauthorised overdraft at Snoras, and he seems bullish about Spyker’s future prospects and viability. But then, he always has.

It’ll be interesting to see exactly what Victor Muller’s latest plans for Spyker are when the B6 concept gets revealed at Geneva.
