Toyota Auris 2010 Updates

Toyota has updated the Auris for 2010

And the Auris is a big deal for the UK as it will be the UK busy building the Auris Hybrid next year. So what changes has Toyota introduced to the Auris to keep it fresh through 2010?

Nothing too drastic. You now get a slightly different grill – depending on model designation – and a new bumpers. Lights have been changed front and back and the bonnet gets a bit of a redesign. Exterior changes are rounded off with some new alloys.

Interior changes are modest with some new colour options, upgraded materials and the addition of some extra kit to some models.

On the oily front the 1.8 litre gets revised variable valve timing and models equipped with CVT get a set of paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

Some, all or more of these changes to the Japanese Auris will filter through to the UK model before the Auris Hybrid launches next year.
