Beware of cheaper counterfeit bearings. I have rebuilt diffs which have lasted only 2-3 months when knock-off bearings have been used. My bearings are guaranteed to be genuine. Only use the real deal when rebuilding your BMW differential. If they are cheap, they are fake. Genuine FAG (made in Germany) and genuine Koyo (Made in Japan) ball bearings are expensive. My genuine bearings are usually in stock for express delivery to Australian most metro areas. This is a 13 piece differential rebuild kit to suit the above vehicles with the small-sized 188L/LW ball bearing diff. These diffs have a 4 bolt input flange or spline input. It contains all bearings, 3x seals, 4 ball bearings, 4 races, crush washer and lock plate. These differentials often suffer noise, differential failure and bearing failure. Now it's possible to fix your noisy 168L/LW sized diff. This is a much better option versus a used differential which may not last, and is often cheaper too. Diff Lab rebuilds these diffs in-house and offers these diffs on exchange. This is the most complete kit available anywhere in the world, and it is the cheapest.
