The Renault Espace gets tweaked for 2011
The Renault Espace was the car that started the whole ‘People Carrier’ thing, and with ever improving options coming at them from every angle they need to keep the Espace fresh. So although facelift may be a bit strong for the changes Renault has made to the Espace for 2011 – it’s more a case of a quick bit of Botox in its lunch hour – changes there are. If we tell you that the highlight of the facelift is a set of LED running lights you’ll have a fair idea of the extent of the changes for 2011.
The SEMA tuning and modified car show held in that centre of American excess, Las Vegas, is a melting pot for all things automotive. From trucks and busses to family saloons and hatchbacks, aftermarket tuning companies go to work making the wackiest modified versions of every type of vehicle around, showing off their wares at SEMA. THE CONTINENTAL GT3 racing car will make its competitive debut at December’s Gulf 12 Hours race in Abu Dhabi, it has been confirmed. The 600bhp, twin-turbo V8 racer is the first Bentley model to hit the race track since 2003, when the Crewe-based outfit won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This time Bentley will, officially at least, only use the two-part endurance race as a test to gauge the performance of the Continental GT3 ahead of a full entry into the 2014 FIA Blancpain GT3 racing championship.
