About us:  BimmerOEM was formed a year ago by a fellow BMW enthusiast who saw the need of such reliable company in BMW world. BimmerOEM is responsible for a number of 6speed e38 and touring swaps, world's first fully functioning M5 clusters on 540i/740i cars, top mounted Roots blower on M62 powered BMWs, as well as an m62tub44 (540i motor) swapped into an e46 coupe. and many more. On days away from custom work, I  part out these cars (e39, e38, e46 and e36s) and provide the BMW community with the highest quality OEM used parts.

Why buy from us? I am not solely a part out company, but a BMW enthusiast who enjoys disassembling cars and providing our customers with quality product, knowledge and patience. I ran and managed BMW performance shop  in SoCal and soon will be reopening my doors to all my new clients. What sets me apart from the rest is my knowledge about these cars and ability to ensure our customers with parts compatibility, provide coding/programming services and your overall satisfaction.

New Range Rover (2013): The Reviews (+video)

Sat, 27 Oct 2012

Media reviews for the 2013 Range Rover have been going on in Morocco this week, so we have a round-up and video. Sadly, Cars UK didn’t get an invite, but that’s not going to stop us doing our own ‘review’ of what the lucky ones who did attend thought of the Range Rover. And we’ve also got hold of Land Rover’s B-Roll footage from the tests – designed to be chopped up and voiced-over for individual video reviews of the new Range Rover – so we’ve put that at the bottom for you to flick through.

Is BMW’s Project-i (i3 & i8) in trouble?

Tue, 29 May 2012

Reports suggest that BMW are getting cold feet over their electric Project i and are considering delaying the i3 and i8. We’re not the biggest fans of the electric car, although we certainly see it has a place in our new world. But as a replacement for the ICE car it’s a non-starter.

*CORRECTION* Thomas Ingenlath appointed Vice President of Design for Volvo

Thu, 15 Mar 2012

Yesterday Car Design News reported that Thomas Ingenlath has been appointed Vice President of Design for Volvo, stating that he will report to Peter Horbury, who is now Senior Vice President Design, Geely Group. This information is innacurate as Ingenlath will in fact report directly to Volvo Car Company President & CEO, Stefan Jacoby. We apologize for any confusion caused by our error.
