NEW replacement gear for the BMW X3 E83 (ca. 2003-2010) and X5 53 (ca. 2000-2006) transfer case motor.
This is the upgraded carbon fiber reinforced version made from CFRP. The transfer case motor is a common and frequent cause of failure due to worn out gear. The replacement of the entire motor/case is costly. We offer the failing/wearing gear as an individual part as an inexpensive solution to this common problem. Please contact us for DIY links if you can't find them. Orders received by 12 noon EST ship same day (including Saturdays). 2009 Michelin Challenge Design theme announced
Tue, 15 Jan 2008Michelin today announced the 2009 theme for its global vehicle design competition, Michelin Challenge Design (MCD), asking entrants to explore the future of transportation and share their brave and bold vision for 'America's Next Iconic Vehicle.' Designers this year are asked to render unique vehicle concepts that demonstrate emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution. Additional consideration will be given to entries with attributes that benefit safety and the environment and include a separate rendering of the tire and wheel component assembly. Vehicle designs that best represent "Brave + Bold, America's Next Iconic Vehicle" will be reviewed by a jury of professional designers whose names will be announced later in 2008.

Mon, 06 Jul 2009The new Alfa Romeo Milano - snapped on a mobile 'phone and posted on Facebook And that’s the case with this picture of the new Alfa Romeo Milano, which has surfaced on the Interweb (on Facebook – I wonder if it was taken by the wife of the head of MI6?!) and lets you see just what the new Alfa Romeo Milano will look like. Obviously taken on a ‘phone, the quality isn’t great, but there’s more than enough detail to see what the car will offer. Taking design cues from the Alfa Romeo 8C (which did the Goodwood Hillclimb at the weekend), the Milano is more than a little reminiscent of the cracking Alfa super mini – the Alfa Romeo MiTo.
