The Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV at the Geneva Motor Show 2009 [ad#ad-1] Well it looks like we got it just about right when we brought you news of the new super-Murcielago – The Lamborghini Murcileago LP670-4 Super Veloce – a couple of weeks ago. Nice to be right sometimes! Lamborghini has officially released details on the LP670-4 SV today at the Geneva Motor Show ’09, and just as we thought, it is the Murcielago to end all Murcielagos (which is about right, as it will be the last Murcielago Coupe – although we should still have the Murcielago LP-650-4 Roadster to look forward to).

Vauxhall-Opel has frozen the design of an upmarket small car, to rival BMW’s Mini and the Fiat 500. Codenamed Junior, the 3.7m-long three-door is two years from production. Jaguar already has a new Jaguar XJC on the drawing board – a coupe version of the new Jaguar XJ The last Jaguar XJC was in the ’70s, and was built on the SWB version of the Series II Jaguar XJ.  In fact – by the time Jaguar got round to launching the XJC on to the market in 1975 – it was the only XJ that had the SWB, as all XJ saloons had moved over to the LWB as standard. A glorious-looking car – especially in ‘New Avengers’ guise as driven by Steed – it was plagued by the problems that beset British Leyland at the time.
