Jaguar XE Estate & Coupe “…a very difficult business case”
Mon, 13 Oct 2014It’ll be tough to extend the Jaguar XE Range in to an Estate & Coupe We’ve bangedĀ on for years about Jaguar extending their saloon car range (well, the XJ and XF as that’s all they had until the XE arrived) to coupes and estates, at the very least. We know, for example, that the Jaguar XJ Coupe has been on the drawing board for as long as the current XJ, but Jaguar has failed to build it. Similarly, there have been rumblings about an XF Coupe for years, but that has come to nought too, although Jaguar did finally manage to launch the XF Sportbrake EstateĀ to extend the XF range a little.
Hyundai ix25 sub-compact SUV on the way?
Mon, 09 Apr 2012Is the ix-Metro Concept about to become the Hyundai ix25? It looks like a Hyundai ix25 sub-compact SUV is on the way after Hyundai in Brazil revealed they were planning a new B Segment range. It’s getting on for three years since we saw the Hyundai ix-Metro Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it’s finally starting to look as if the ix-Metro will turn in to the production Hyundai ix25.
Paul Walker crash 'caused by speed'
Wed, 26 Mar 2014CRASH INVESTIGATORS have determined that the Porsche carrying "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker was travelling at approximately 90mph when it lost control on a California street and smashed into a light pole, killing the actor and his friend. A person who has reviewed the investigators' report said that it concluded unsafe driving, not mechanical problems, caused the crash. The report says driver Roger Rodas was going between 81mph and 94mph when his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT began to drift as it lost control after coming out of a curve.
