Features:

This aftermarket remote control can be perfectly matched to your Yamaha Tohatsu outboard and its controls.

(1)A stainless steel core with special nylon covering using plastic-on-plastic technology that increases cable performance.

(2)A splined inner core for ultra-low friction and reduced end play. A 45% reduction in cable friction (vs. standard marine cables) for smoother operation.

(3)A 4" bend minimum radius offers superior flexibility and easier rigging.

(4)Stranded core wires increase strength and resist kinking.

(5)Exposed metals are stainless steel to help protect against corrosion.

(6)An ultraviolet-stabilized jacket resists cracking and water migration to the core.

(7)Factory-installed anti-corrosion materials extend the life of the cables.

Note:

When choosing the correct cable length for your application, be sure to add the distance from the center of the engine to the bilge area through the rigging tube, from that point to the gunnel (usually starboard) where the cables will run to the console, the length of the gunnel or rigging tube, and the distance from the gunnel to the console where the remote control box will be located - then add two feet. This extra distance will allow for any errors in measurement and ensure sufficient bend radius for smooth, easy shifting.

Dodge Avenger replacement could go rear-wheel drive

Mon, 20 Jul 2009

Chrysler is pondering a shakeup for its midsize-sedan lineup. The Dodge Avenger replacement would shift to rear-wheel drive, and the next Chrysler Sebring would be based on a Fiat platform in an effort to differentiate two cars that currently share the same underpinnings, Automotive News reports. The Avenger replacement could be based on a modified Challenger platform, which itself is a modified version of the Charger and Chrysler 300 platform.

Audi A9 Render by Auto Zeitung We know that Audi is on a mission to fill every conceivable motoring niche; to produce a car that fits every need of every possible consumer. Their current range extends from the city car A1 to the luxo-barge A8 by way of the supercar R8. But there’s always room for more in Audi’s plan to be the biggest – and most successful – premium car maker on the planet.

Renault Kwid Concept is a bonkers baby SUV

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

The Renault Kwid Concept (pictured) comes with its own flying drone There are concepts of new cars where you can clearly see they’re heading for production, and then there are concepts that look like the designers have been allowed to go berserk with little though to an eventual production car. The new Renault Kwid falls firmly in the latter. Said to be aimed at younger buyers in emerging markets – and designed with Renault’s designers in India – the Kwid Concept comes with a conventional 1.2 litre petrol engine and dual-clutch box – and can take the ZOE’s EV powertrain – but that’s seems to be where any connection with reality ends.
