2009 Mazda 3 hatchback unveiled ahead of Bologna

Mazda has today released the first pictures of the new Mazda 3 hatchback, ahead of the Bologna Motor Show on December 3rd. The pictures come hot on the heels of the recently announced saloon and, just like the saloon, the Mazda 3 hatchback is a much fresher design, with far more sporty pretensions. One of the big aims for Mazda with the 3 was, of course, a much more economical car without sacrificing the old model’s strengths.

Jaguar XJ – the ‘All-Star’ car

The ‘All Star’ here is the All-Star Award from America’s Automobile magazine who’ve decided that the new XJ deserves an award, just as the Jaguar XF deserved the same accolade in 2009 and 2010. Nissan Murano (2014) first official pictures

Based on the same platform as the Altima saloon, the Murano’s backswept ‘boomerang’ lights, outlandish body surfacing and sharp, low-set nose are all dead ringers for Nissan’s well-received design study. Americans will be able to buy one of these eccentric lookers in late 2014, but right now Nissan is still mulling the possibility of European (yet alone UK-based) sales.
