Up for auction B-737 Cockpit-Interior-Liner\Trim\Plastic …..unfortunately the Aircraft-demolition people very often do not have the interest of the “Sim-builders” among us at heart….they are after-all “demolition-men” and not really “salvagers”…..they’re working under time-constraints and will not give themselves the time to “to properly remove items”…..often items are just simply “ripped-out” screws-in-all….many of the pieces of Trim that I will put up for auction will have small-,or large cracks, corners missing, slightly warped or bend…..it is the nature of things—I just cannot exactly describe each and every nook and cranny,it is afterall “for parts or not working” and it will very much depend on your skill with epoxy-glues and Bondo to get the pieces back to “life”…always please be guided by the photo’s supplied….that having been said…… : Up for auction the B-737 ceiling-side-pieces with HUD-Pod and the Eyebrows left and right side that go with the " HUD-pod-set-up" the brow on the left side is in it's proper and original shape so as to accommodate the HUD-combiner glass in it's folded\stowed position.all pieces are in GOOD condition,clean,no cracks - no corners missing..,, bulky items -and will need plenty padding in order to ship properly - shipping may be considerable - the 100 dollars indicated below is an educated guess,but could easily be higher.....please be guided by photo's supplied,what yhou see is what you get....Thank you for looking ! Nissan’s new lightweight philosophy revealed
Wed, 28 Oct 2009The leaked official drawings of the new Nissan Micra might have revealed the conventional styling of the company’s new supermini, but they gave little clue to the dramatically lightweight new platform that underpins it. The new Micra will be significantly lighter and more fuel efficient than the outgoing car due to a ruthless pursuit of weight reduction on the new V-platform (V = versatile), which on average has slashed 50kg from the new car's weight, and up to 70kg on some models. Project leader Noritaka Tsuru described the new package as a 'breakthrough car' that required a complete 'change in mentality' in how Nissan makes cars.
