Boom Mat’s new Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining was designed primarily for automotive engine compartments as a way to greatly reduce heat and noise with a simple and easy peel and stick application. Extreme engine heat and noise often is a problem with today’s modified vehicles packed with high performance components. Made of ¾” thick, high quality, marine grade acoustical foam with a fiberglass reinforced reflective aluminum skin while the 5 mil acrylic adhesive provides a permanent bond. Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining not only insulates the underside of the hood for sound deadening and thermal control, it also protects the vehicle's paint finish. Under Hood Thermal Acoustic Lining can also be used as noise control applications such as on generator boxes and many industrial uses including HVAC applications. Range_e (2013) - the hybrid electric Range Rover Sport
Tue, 11 May 2010Land Rover today confirmed its first hybrid models will be launched in 2013. The new Range_e is a showcase for the company's diesel-electric hybrid tech in a current Range Rover Sport bodyshell. Tests will start in late 2010 with a small fleet of five hybrids - but bosses have set a 2013 production date, coinciding with the launch of the large family of Land Rovers.

New Opel/Vauxhall Astra saloon revealed – but not for the UK
Wed, 06 Jun 2012The new Astra with a boot has been revealed but it’s not heading for the UK. It will, however, be offered in Germany and Spain. The hatchback has taken over the car world in recent years when it comes to family cars (although we could see the crossover / compact SUV supplant it before long), which has meant the demise of the traditional saloon, certainly in the UK market.
