Bose® ear cushion technology helps further reduce unwanted noise. Innovative cushion materials block sound before it enters the earcups, providing an even quieter headset experience.
Comfort for the long haul
The A20 Aviation Headset also provides significant comfort and stability. While the overall headset profile is compact, the earcup cavity allows plenty of ear room. The proprietary cushions provide quality acoustic seals, even over eyeglasses, and remain comfortable during long flights. The solid magnesium headband is extremely durable, yet lightweight, and its sheepskin cushion eliminates hot spots. The A20 headset weighs just 12 ounces and exerts minimal clamping force.
AUX IN and Bluetooth® technology convenience
The ergonomic control module includes an auxiliary audio input with Intercom/AUX priority switching. Many pilots will want to use this for dedicated GPS and traffic warning systems. You can set audio priority to mute the AUX input completely when an intercom signal is detected, or to simply lower the AUX volume appropriately.
On select models, Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity allows you to receive calls wirelessly while wearing the A20 headset. And its enhanced EMI protection helps minimize interference from the mobile phone. Plus, the headset's integrated sidetone provides natural sounding communications when you're on a call and disconnected from the intercom.
For all types of aircraft
The A20 Aviation Headset is available in dual plug, 6-pin plug and U174 plug models designed for use in all types of general aviation aircraft, including helicopters.
The 6-pin plug model has a flexible power system for increased versatility usingcustom adapters. When connected to the optional dual G/A plug adapter, it seamlessly converts your aircraft-powered headset to a battery-powered unit—ideal when taking your headset from one plane to another. Similarly, you can connect the 6-pin plug to the optional U174 adapter to use the A20 headset in helicopters, too.

No, the Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity is for communications only. You can, however, plug your MP3 player into the AUX jack to hear your music.
- Will my mobile phone work with this headset?
Yes, any mobile phone enabled with Bluetooth® technology will work viaBluetooth connectivity if you've selected that variant for your A20 headset.
- Are original Aviation Headset X® accessories compatible with the A20® headset?
No, the accessories offered are designed for a specific aviation headset. Be sure to verify which model you own to ensure compatibility when purchasing accessories.
- My aircraft system requires a dynamic microphone system. Can I get cell phone capability to work on my Bose® A20® Aviation Headset?
No, the electronics that are used in the Bose® A20® Aviation Headset are designed to work with powered, electret microphones. Dynamic microphones are not compatible with the headset’s Bluetooth® circuitry.
- Can I convert my 6-pin plug headset to a dual plug headset and/or a helicopter headset?
Yes. The A20 headset with 6-pin plug cable, when connected to the optional dual G/A plug adapter, seamlessly converts your aircraft-powered headset to a battery-powered unit—ideal when taking your headset from one plane to another. When connected to the optional U174 adapter, your A20 headset can easily be used in helicopters, too.

2015 Corvette Stingray will get an eight-speed automatic transmission
Tue, 08 Apr 20142015 Corvette Stingray buyers will have a new transmission option when they head to dealer lots next year: An eight-speed automatic that will supposedly weight less than the six-speed it replaces and boasting quicker shift times than the dual-clutch in the Porsche 911. Named the 8L90, this eight-speed will be built in Ohio and will also be found on the upcoming Corvette Z06. If the gearbox is capable of handling the 625 hp put down by that supercharged beast, we're sure it'll take on the regular Stingray's 455 hp without breaking a sweat.
