Exit caps are stylishly milled with the Boz Brothers B logo and tribal etching. Components are so precisely machined and assembled that they require only four stainless steel button head screws on each end to secure them. All systems are packed exclusively with long-lasting Silent Sport Premium from Germany. All Gild series slip-on/bolt-on exhausts have undergone extensive R&D. Racing cores feature 15” L muffler shells and 2.5” low-percentage perforated cores for maximum flow and aggressive exhaust tone; most average 85-88 dB at idle; 97-100 dB at 5000 rpm (tested statically at 20”, 45°). 6061 T-6 aluminum billet end caps are CNC-machined from solid material to exacting tolerances. Dyno tested and tuned to work perfectly with your stock fuel curve/mapping. Feature stainless steel mid-pipes and show-quality polished stainless steel muffler shells, end caps and tips. Muffler shells are extremely lightweight and robotically welded for a seamless fit. Huge 2.5” diameter outlet tips have an aggressive 55° slash-cut that screams MotoGP/Stunter styling.

It is the latest vehicle to be added to the rapidly expanding scheme, which is being held at the so-called Toyota City; Toyota’s huge presence in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture. The Ha:mo (Harmonious Mobility network) trials are an attempt to develop a sophisticated, integrated transport system for cities, making use of electric vehicles wherever possible but with the key emphasis on encouraging travellers to use the ‘most appropriate’ means of transport at all times.

Lotus, Toyota celebrate engine deal
Fri, 17 Sep 2010Lotus CEO Dany Bahar presented Toyota president Akio Toyoda with a Lotus Elise this week at the British Embassy in Tokyo, celebrating the companies' long partnership. The Elise was equipped with Toyota's last 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i engine, the same engine found in older versions of the Lotus Elise and Exige. “The presentation of Toyota's last 2ZZ engine in the Elise is a symbolic gesture of our continued respect and deep appreciation for our partner not only acknowledging our past, but also looking forward to our future together,” Bahar said in a statement.
