All systems are packed exclusively with long-lasting Silent Sport Premium from Germany. All Gild series slip-on/bolt-on exhausts have undergone extensive R&D.

Street cores feature 18” L muffler shells and 2” high-percentage perforated cores to assure a quieter exhaust tone; most average 82-84 dB at idle, 93-95 dB at 5000 rpm (tested statically at 20”, 45°).

6061 T-6 aluminum billet end caps are CNC-machined from solid material to exacting tolerances.

Dyno tested and tuned to work perfectly with your stock fuel curve/mapping.

Feature stainless steel mid-pipes and show-quality polished stainless steel muffler shells, end caps and tips.

Muffler shells are extremely lightweight and robotically welded for a seamless fit.

Huge 2.5” diameter outlet tips have an aggressive 55° slash-cut that screams MotoGP/Stunter styling.

Audi TT (2014) first official sketches

Thu, 20 Feb 2014

By Ollie Kew (images by Auto Bild/Larson) First Official Pictures 20 February 2014 11:00 Official Audi design sketches revealed today show the exterior styling of the new TT coupe. Festooned with cues from the original 1998 TT – something of a modern classic – the new car marries typical Audi cues with sharper, more aggressive details. It looks awfully close to CAR’s artist’s impression of the new TT in our gallery (see right).

Who killed Pontiac? Ask Bob Lutz

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Bob Lutz is not a man who can be contained within 140 characters. This past weekend he spoke at the Petersen as part of the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, hosted by friend of Autoweek George Notaras (past events have been with Ralph Gilles and Derek Jenkins). Lutz talked at length about his childhood in Switzerland, early memories working for Ford and Chrysler, the time he swayed BMW management away from building Mercedes-like luxoboats, and what Lee Iacocca was really like behind closed doors.
