Lamborghini Huracan (2014) first official pictures

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 20 December 2013 08:00 Say hello to the Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 – the replacement for the best-selling Lambo in history, the Gallardo. The new supercar’s brooding looks pack a more potent 601bhp V10 and Lamborghini’s first dual-clutch transmission into a lighter package that’ll eat the old Gallardo for breakfast… Loads – starting with the name. While rumours that the Gallardo replacement was to be called the ‘Cabrera’ (Spanish for ‘goat herder’ apparently) proved false, the new sports car at least follows the tradition of being named after a bull.

Is this the new Lexus RC F Coupe?

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

Is this the new Lexus RC F Coupe? These could be Photoshops based on the Lexus LF-CC – which previewed the new IS – but they do have the feel of being real, and if they are then Lexus is delivering up an RC Coupe that’s pretty faithful to the LF-CC Concept and which promises to be a real competitor for the BMW M3. Under the bonnet of the RC F is expected to be a 5.0 litre V8 delivering around 455bhp and 400lb/ft of torque, complete with cylinder deactivation for more frugal running when you’re not wringing the neck of the V8, and mated to an eight-speed auto ‘box with flappy paddles and three driving modes.

Italian Grand Prix (2012) RESULT

Sun, 09 Sep 2012

With McLaren locking out the front row of the grid in Monza, will the 2012 Italian Grand Prix see the Woking team dominate? Spa saw Jenson Button drive brilliantly for a lights to flag win, and here at Monza Button is riding shotgun for Hamilton’s pole as the 2012 Italian Grand Prix looks set to see the resurgence of McLaren continue. This time it was Lewis Hamilton who dominated from the lights – only briefly losing the lead during a pit stop – after a clean start saw him put clear air between the McLaren and a fired-up Massa who managed to wedge his Ferrari between Hamilton and Button before the first corner.
