Brass Head/side Light/lamp Antique Car Motorcycle 1908 1909 1910 1911 1912 on 2040-parts.com
Santa Ana, California, US
Offered is a real nice original solid brass in great working condition. The light has an outside diameter of 4 3/4" and it is 4 1/2" deep, not including the handle. It has a swivel bracket and a handle on the back side. All exterior parts are solid brass. On the top is stamped, "MFG. By JACKSON & WOOD DENVER". I do not know what car or motorcycle this light was originally mounted to. It has a 6 volt bulb and a silvered reflector for illumination. The lens is flat and clear glass with no chips or cracks. It has been re-wired with cloth insulated wire and lights up and works well. Not sure if this is a side light for a car or a main headlight for a motorcycle. No dents or cracks in the brass.. I have not polished this light because many buyers prefer the tarnished patina.
Thank You!

Ferrari F70 takes test laps
Wed, 06 Feb 2013It's a strange world we live in when, even in my short-to-medium lifespan, we've gone from the 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi making either 205 or 214 hp—depending on who you're asking—to the Ferrari F70, which is rumored to make 950 hp with its V12 and KERS system. I would put an Excel graph here, but just imagine a line going up at a 45-degree angle to infinity. With all of that in mind, here's about five minutes of the camouflaged supercar flying around the test track with fantastic audio of the Italian stallion in action.
