 This is a brand new Evinrude Johnson trim up relief valve kit, part number 983767.  It fits 1978-1990 trim and tilt models, except the 2 cyl. 40-60hp models.
It replaces part number 389000 which was used on trim units 1978-1984.

Bentley has started the tease for the new Flying Spur which looks like it will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show in March. We’ve had spy video of the new Bentley Continental Flying Spur out testing and looking,  certainly at first glance, just like a Mercedes S Class. But that’s just Bentley’s take on the usual swirly camouflage.

Dagoberto Tribia was promoted to Director of Interior Design at GM do Brasil Design on January 1, 2011. Working under the direction of Carlos Barba, Executive Director of Design, GM South America, Tribia has assumed responsibility for all interior programs at General Motors Brazil Design, both local and global. In doing so, he has also become the first Brazilian Design Director at the company.

Volkswagen and BYD get cosy

VW and BYD have signed an agreement to work together on developing battery technology (BYD F3DM plug-in Hybrid pictured). Volkswagen has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese car maker and EV specialist BYD to work together “in the area of electric mobility”. Seems sensible.
