Brand New Alloy Aluminum Petrol (Gas) Tank made by the boys out of Scotland at The Tank Shop. View their website if you are not familiar with them. Top quality tank NOT made in India. This is what I call a Sprint style tank and I bought it from a guy touring Europe who told me he bought it for his A65 BSA Spitfire. I also bought an Alloy Oil Tank from him made for the BSA A65 also made at The Tank Shop. See my other listing. This is a perfect light tank which I believe can be used on several different bikes as it fits and looks great on my 1966 BSA Spitfire, and my 1970 Triumph Bonneville.. Probably will work on a Featherbed Norton or Triton see the pics for sizing etc. Never polished. No dents. Perfect. Weighs only 7.5lb and is 26 inches long. Marks on the bottom were there when I got it. Just a marker will come off easy enough. Per their website you will wait a minimum of 40 weeks for one of these tanks, plus pay a hefty delivery fee to boot. Tank, cap, and shipping and 40 weeks wait easily adds up to almost a grand. Get it here cheaper and now. |

Faurecia opens new Shanghai Technical Center
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Faurecia has opened a new technical center in Shanghai, China, which will also serve as its Chinese headquarters. The automotive equipment supplier wants to reinforce its research and development capabilities and engineering localization in the world's largest automotive market. The new 18,000 square meter Faurecia China Tech Center is made up of the Training Center and the Tech Center, which includes an industrial design facility, two showrooms and various prototype workshops alongside five labs for testing, acoustics, airbag, complete seat and quality inspection.

Tue, 01 Jul 2014New MINI 5-door Hatch starts rolling off the production line in Oxford MINi are wasting no time in getting the new 5-door MINI Hatch in to production following its reveal at the start of June, with the firs 5-door MINIs already rolling off the production line at MINI’s Oxford Plant. The five-door MINI is the second MINI model to be built off BMW’s new UKL 1 platform – the new MIN I being the first – with the platform stretched to give the five-door an extra 72mm in it wheelbase, 15mm extra headroom and enough length to add a pair of (small) back doors). And unlike the three-door Hatch, the new five-door Hatch will be available with a full suite of models from the off, with the SD Cooper included in the range from launch as well as the Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S.
