This is a great camshaft for a daily driver application.  With 4 degrees of overlap it has a noticeable idle, and makes great average power.  This cam will make superior power to single pattern cams of the same approximate intake duration.  Cam specs are 227/234 .614"/.576" 113+2 and comes a 3 bolt timing gear pattern. Lift approaching .650" while using stock rocker arms with too much open spring pressure can damage valve tips long term.

Brian Tooley has worked in the performance industry full time for over 20 years. He started his own business, Total Engine Airflow, in 1992 using a Flowdata flowbench.  He worked at Holley Performance products from 1993-1995 where he helped develop the SysteMax head, intake and camshaft packages. He went back to work for himself from 1996-2004 where he built Total Engine Airflow into one of the most successful CNC cylinder head porting shops in the country. At the end of 2004 he sold his business to Summit Racing Equipment where he worked with Trickflow Specialties developing CNC programs for existing heads, as well as developing all new cylinder heads. He left Summit Racing/TFS during 2010 to move closer to home and family. After seeing a need for quality spring kits at affordable prices he decided to introduce his own line of spring kits.

Ford tests electric-vehicle sounds on Facebook

Mon, 11 Jul 2011

Sure, if it were up to us, every car would sound like a Lamborghini Aventador or a McLaren Formula One race car. And while those specific options aren't available (yet),Ford is using its Facebook page to let fans vote on sounds to be made by the electric Focus. Since EVs are so quiet, Ford needs to give the Focus electric some sound for safety's sake--to draw the attention of people who are blind people, those using cell phones or iPods and even for animals.

Jaguar C-X16 concept (2011) the first official sketch of Jag's F-type

Wed, 17 Aug 2011

This is Jaguar’s new sub-XK sports car. As we revealed back in 2009, Jaguar is working on an all-new small sports car, nicknamed the XE, to compete with Porsche’s best – and this is it. This official design sketch teases the concept car (dubbed C-X16, the hybrid supercar concept is C-X75) that will appear at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show in September.
