From the styling to the chassis to the raw power, the pony car remains a throwback and a simple, true American pleasure. Expect that mantra to continue, but the execution will evolve, moving the Mustang forward into a broader, potentially global audience as it nears a half century of performance.
Suzuki's C segment Crossover headed for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Suzuki has released the first two images of its new C Segment Crossover ahead of its premiere at next month's Geneva show. Unfortunately, apart from the two renders Suzuki has revealed little else about the car other than the fact that it's based on the S-Cross concept that we saw at last September's Paris show. We'll only find out what the car's name is in Geneva.
VW Design Vision Golf GTI (2013) 493bhp Golf revealed
Wed, 08 May 2013As CAR reported in our scoop last week, VW will unveil a higher-performance Golf GTI hot hatch at the 2013 Wörthersee show, and here we have the first sketches of the super-Golf. Called the VW Design Vision Golf GTI, the concept packs close to 500bhp and can outrun a Porsche 911. It's by far the most extreme Golf hot hatch since the Bentley-engined GTI W12 concept of 2007.
