Stokes Marine manifolds to convert a Buick 215 cid aluminum V8 engine to marine use. Includes two piece bellhousing so it will bolt up to a boat transmission. Velvet Drive I think? I'm not sure anymore. This engine uses a bellhousing bolt pattern that is different than the typical BOP pattern - this bellhousing fits the 215. May also fit Rover V8s as they are based on the same block. As far as I know they do not fit any other engines. The water pump is included but may not be useable. At the very least it will need to be rebuilt. The cap shown fits a stock Buick 4 barrel intake manifold. Air filter also included. Engine shown in the last picture is for example only and is NOT included in auction.
I bought these a couple years ago for a boat project that never happened. The good: They exist. When's the last time you saw set of these for sale? The bad: Some of the holes in the bellhousing were ovaled (see pics) for use on an outdrive it wasn't designed for. Also, one of the bolts for a manifold cap has broken off. Local pick up only. Alfa owners throw a party for iconic brand
Wed, 23 Jun 2010Alfa Romeo turns 100 on June 24, and the Capital Chapter of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club (AROC) is celebrating the famed Milanese maker's centennial with a weeklong series of festivities called “Alfa Century 2010.” Centennial celebrations take place June 21-27 in numerous locations throughout the world including in Milan, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and during the Monterey weekend. But the Washington, D.C.-based AROC Capital Chapter's birthday bash represents the largest Alfa-exclusive commemoration in the United States.
