Buick Riviera Parts Book 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974-1976

"Buick 1965-76 Master Parts Catalogue" This original book is your ultimate resource for original part numbers with illustrations. This is the book that a Buick dealer would have used to order parts. The numerical and alphabetical lists cover the parts that could be serviced from the factory when the book was printed in 1981. You will find illustrations and the original part numbers, which are still useful today because most parts vendors still use GM's numbers to keep track of their parts. Use this book to make your search for parts both quicker and easier. The illustrations in the book will help you to identify parts, and the exploded views can aid you with assembly or disassembly of some parts of the vehicle. Covers engine, clutch , cooling system, grille, oil system, chassis, electrical, fuel, exhaust, carburetion, transmission, brakes, axles, steering, frame, springs, bumper, sheet metal, hear, air conditioning, instruments, doors, hardware, glass, mouldings, seats, folding top, headliner, seats, carpets, and mats. You can identify if the parts you are buying are original and complete; if you're missing parts, you can use the book to see what you should have. If the same part number is used for more than one year, you can also find out interchange between the different years and models covered in the book. This book covers the 1965-1976 Canadian Buick models including Le Sabre, Luxus, Wildcat, Electra, 225, Riviera, Estate Wagon, and Centurion. The book was printed in Canada, but since these models are very similar to US cars, you can use this book for both US and Canadian cars. This 8.5 x 11 inch book is 2.5 inches thick. This catalog is in new condition as it came from GM. It is looseleaf and ready to be put into your standard 3-ring binder. Buy now to own this hard-to-find original parts book for your Buick.

Mitsubishi revamps U.S. strategy

Mon, 24 Jan 2011

Mitsubishi plans a different U.S. model lineup and a new production strategy for its assembly plant in Normal, Ill., as it shifts emphasis away from regionally focused vehicles to global small cars, hybrids and electrics. Shinichi Kurihara, CEO of Mitsubishi Motors North America, says the company will launch four new models in the United States within three years, as four slow-selling U.S.-built vehicles are phased out of production by 2014.

BMW 7-series hybrid due in 2009

Mon, 07 Jul 2008

By Nick Gibbs Motor Industry 07 July 2008 14:30 BMW will launch a hybrid petrol version of the newly unveiled 7-series in 2009, but admits it’s more for green-leaning V8 addicts than seriously eco-aware bosses. Even with the latest lithium-ion batteries, the forthcoming 4.4-litre V8 petrol-electric version will struggle to match the astonishing 39.2mpg and 192g/km of CO2 of the new six-cylinder diesel, especially when BMW will launch stop-start technology for the whole range within two years. The hybrid is likely to cost several thousand more than the £65,000 it’s estimated you’ll need to buy the regular, twin-turbo 750i that goes on sale in November 2008.

Wed, 03 Dec 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 03 December 2008 14:00 Honda issued this solitary photograph of the new Insight hybrid car today – revealing the battery-powered vehicle in production spec. This is a bit of a mini landmark in green fuels technology: the Insight Mk2 will become at a stroke the world’s cheapest hybrid car. Sales begin in spring 2009 and CAR understands that Honda is working on a £14,995 price tag, substantially undercutting today’s hybrids.
