Wed, 23 Feb 2011

The Aston Martin Virage Volante With the (probably) most important motor show of the year looming – and the major ‘Home’ show in the traditionalal sense for all European car makers – the reveals are coming thick and fast. Having already had Jaguar’s XKR-S this morning, we now get a pair of all new Aston Martins – the Aston Martin Virage Coupe and Aston Martin Virage Volante. Lots of tradition Aston Martin ‘V’ words all at once.

SHOCK CAR NEWS! New Bentley SUV won’t be cheap

Sat, 28 Jun 2014

New Bentley SUV won’t be cheap The Bentley SUV is now not just a probable future model for Bentley, but is now a fully confirmed project that will result in the first ever SUV from Bentley in 2016. Having now moved away from the ‘Bentley Shed’ school of car design we saw with the original EXP 9 F Concept - which got huge criticism when it was revealed – to a much sleeker design that looks like a Continental GT on stilts, the new Bentley SUV will be much in demand when it arrives. But one question that hasn’t been answered is where exactly Bentley will pitch the price of their new SUV?

Porsche 918 Spyder hits the Nurburgring (video)

Sun, 22 Jul 2012

The Porsche 918 Spyder – Porsche’s hybrid replacement for the Carrera GT – has been caught on video at the Nurburgring. Incredibly, it’s more that two years since Porsche took the wraps of the 918 Spyder at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, yet we’re still more than a year away from actually seeing production cars. But Porsche are putting their time to good use. Porsche has made a few cosmetic tweaks already from the original 918 Concept, but they’ve also let it be known that the 918 Spyder will get a 550bhp 4.6 litre V8 to go with its electric motors on the front wheels  (one less motor than originally envisaged – there was going to be one one the back axle too), which will make the 918 Spyder a FWD Porsche when in EV mode.
