The Original Extreme Mug Holder
The Butler by Glass Act, is the Original Extreme Mug Holder popular for years with motorcycle enthusiasts. The Butler’s popularity is due to a number of factors that were engineered into this patented system.  Being INDUSTRIAL GRADE, the Butler’s exclusive, patented compression ring has an opening to allow the use of a tapered mug with a full handle.  The mugs used are the highly insulated ThermoServ mugs available in 20 oz or 34 oz for complete fluid hydration. The ring expands when rough conditions occur causing the mug to wedge downward preventing it from bouncing out.  In fact, the rougher the conditions, the better the system holds the mug!  And yes, the Butler comes complete with all stainless-steel hardware, and the ThermoServ mug of your choice in size or color (20 oz or 34 oz, solid black or Pearl White available).

But barring some unfortunate-looking Impreza based engineering mules, we've yet to see the Subaru edition. That situation didn't change at the recent 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, where Subaru once again exhibited the rear-drive platform of what we now know will be called the BRZ with a transparent bodyshell rather than production panels.

And here it is. Bigger than the old 3 Series Convertible – and, not surprisingly, looking very like the 4 Series Coupe – the new 4 Series Convertible keeps the folding metal roof the 3 Series had so you really get a proper coupe and convertible all in one.

CAR tech: how much F1 is in the McLaren P1?

Tue, 06 Aug 2013

We're forever told racing tech makes for better road cars, but is that true, even in the case of the £866,000 McLaren P1? CAR tech looks at the similarities between Jenson Button's weekend racer and McLaren's hybrid supercar: Gives you wings A Formula One car wins or loses by its aero package – and the P1’s a true aero car with a mighty set-up. It has the highest amount of downforce of any road car on sale – so you couldn’t get closer to F1 with number plates if you tried.
