This unit came off of my 2006 chevy express 1500 and has a damaged rear case half due to an out of balance driveshaft that caused wear and damaged it. The van was still driving but had a vibration. I have not split the case to see what internals may or may not be damaged.
Brand:Borg Warner Warranty:No Manufacturer Part Number:4473

This is a Borg Warner 4473 awd transfer case used on several Chevrolet vehicles. I removed this transfer case because I had a vibration that became sever. The driveshaft was out of balance due to bad u-joints which in turn damaged the transfer case. You can see in the pictures where the case half with the tail housing is damaged. The van was still driving, but further damage to the internal components may have occurred.
