Consumer Reports gets top vehicle picks mostly right
Wed, 26 Feb 2014Despite the publication's uncomfortably broad definition of reliability -- it spans everything from "the engine fell out" to "the touchscreen display shows fingerprints too easily" -- automakers still clamor to get on the Consumer Reports recommended vehicle list. Range Rover Evoque Price: An Evoque for under £28k
Mon, 04 Apr 2011The Range Rover Evoque finally gets a price in the UK - from £28k We’re beginning to wonder if any car launch has been as long and drawn out as that of the Range Rover Evoque. What we now know as the Evoque kicked off over three years ago as the Land Rover LRX, but turned in to the Evoque at a publicity bash at Kensington Palace last Summer. Since then we’ve had endless stories (well, around 40 since the Evoque was named) covering everything from the Evoque engine and model detail through to the 3-door Evoque (the Evoque Coupe) and the 5-door Evoque being revealed at different times.
Ferrari 458 Italia (2010) at 2009 Frankfurt motor show
Thu, 27 Aug 2009By Tim Swietochowski First Official Pictures 27 August 2009 13:17 Ferrari has issued more pictures of the striking new 458 Italia, which will be displayed for the first time at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new photographs on the road reveal a mid-engined sports car that looks immediately more modern than the previous studio shots. The climbing headlight design is unusual for a Ferrari, and we can now see banks of LED lights and horizontal strakes rising up the front fender alongside the aero vents.
