Product Information
The perfect answer to avoiding speeding tickets can be found by installing the K40 Calibre. Designed for performance vehicles, this Bluetooth enabled device has radar receivers behind both the rear bumper and front grill for nearly all-round Bluetooth radar detector protection. Proprietary VG-2 Stealth Guard in this device protects your K40 radar detector system from police VG-2 guns, making it one of the few to offer true radar detection. Featuring a OneTouch remote control, the K40 Calibre is truly wireless. The K40 radar dectector can be operated easily at the touch of a button on this small device, and it provides both verbal, tone and visual alerts. A hidden speaker and discreet LEDs in this K40 Calibre system provide ample warning when there is a speed trap approaching. When properly installed, this Bluetooth radar detector is invisible to the eye and is therefore not a target for would be thieves. Another fantastic feature of this K40 radar detector is that it performs a self-analysis upon start-up each time to ensure it is working properly and that the car is protected from lasers.

Subaru XV gets a price cut – down by £1300 on 1.6 litre versions

Sat, 18 May 2013

It wasn’t a bad starting point for an able mid-sized crossover – a high-riding Impreza, in all but name –  but it wasn’t the cheapest offering in the class. But now, with the Yen being a bit kinder to Japanese car makers, Subaru has decided to nudge the price a bit lower to start the XV range off below £20k for the first time. The price drop for the XV only applies to the 1.6 litre petrol versions, but you can now get the entry-level XV 1.6i S for a more affordable £19,995 rising to £23,415 for the XV 1.6i SE with the Lineartronic gearbox, reductions across the range of £1300.

BMW confirms 5-series hybrid for March arrival in the United States

Fri, 30 Sep 2011

When it comes to hybrids, BMW doesn't take the understated route, cranking up the power and loading eco technologies into some of its most decadent models. The 7-series, the X6--they will never be mistaken for a Toyota Prius. But now comes the mean and green version of the 5-series, called the ActiveHybrid 5, and the Bavarian luxury maker confirmed late Thursday that the car will arrive in U.S.

BMW i3 Coupe EV in production end of 2013 (video)

Sun, 16 Dec 2012

The BMW i3 Coupe Concept will go in to production at the end of 2013, and BMW tell us why the i3 is so important in a new video. We’ve already got the little i3 in the mix and due to arrive in 2013 (although it could come with the more pragmatic option of a range extender instead of as a pure EV) and the i8 supercar is well on its way. But after the reveal of the BMW i3 Coupe Concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show last month, BMW has confirmed the i3 Coupe will go in to production by the end of 2013, and it will be an EV.
